Ident

For this assignment i had to create an experimental piece of animation to a soundtrack. I feel the final product works well, although i would have liked to do it all in spray paint. Regardless the instruments move to the music well.

On this assignment i was asked to create an Ident for my animation course. Recently my university changed its names to the initials FU, this became the main attraction of the Ident. I created it by painting on a wall and taking photographs. The camera moves a small amount, but on such large scale animation this is hard to prevent. ENJOY!

LifeDrawing

This is a selection of my favourite life drawing this term. I feel i have been gradually improving with each lesson. This is one of my most favourite features about animation. I am starting to understand form and weight more and more, and my eye for proportions seems to be continually improving.

Animatic

This was the first animatic i ever created, and the first time using a video editing package. I felt as a first attempt this went well. I spent time on making the pictures fit with the music and dialogue and the direction of animation fits the camera pans throughout the filming.
